What does it take to be a success in music today? Persistence, talent, focus and also some luck is involved.
Does owning your own studio equate to better production or music? It allows us to capture an idea right away and not lose anything by having to redo it over again at the studio.
How do you see the state of hip hop over the next five years? Hip Hop is definitely main stream. It is now a part of American culture. It will probably evolve into the American pop expression of “cool."
If you could start over again, what, if anything, would you do differently? I would probably do it all the same again. Maybe just having a little more fun and taking more chances.
If Heavy D and Fat Joe were to engage in a food fight, who would win and what foods would be involved? No comment. It'd probably be at Mr. Chow though, since they're both big dawgs.
Sup Eddie! Nice meeting you at the Billboard Awards in Miami in August. I see you doing ya thang! That's what's up. Let me know when you tryna do some things with us at AllHipHop.com. I am sure some of these cats we got would love for you to review their demos! Let's touch base. Check us out at www.AllHipHop.com.
What's up EF? You know i'm always happy seeing a fellow artist from my era doing big things! You have always inspired me to keep pushing and keep my head held high. whats up EF, its a new beginning, its your time, this is your second wind. Im looking foward to hearing and seeing more from the untouchables camp. UNTOUCHABLES BABY!!!
EF---this is one of the cats from "Souljah" that semi-problematic situation at MOTOWN..I tried to get word to you with Nova...I'm the kid that came in your office to shoot the breeze w/ you during our session at your mini-mansion last month...I never got word on whether you liked the joint that Sly came up with..."Up in Here"...at any rate..One up you have on alot of other cats..U seem mad respectful and humble..and you worked one of my favorite song writers..Mr. Kenny Greene(r.i.p.)
EF--this is HD giving you props. I've personally witnessed your drive and anal organized ways which is what makes you a great executive. These R&B and hip-hop cats need to learn that being creative is great, but making sure your business is on point is what keeps you in the game in the long run (you've proven that).
P.S. My files are on point and in order....thanks for the lesson :)
Eddie F - You're production with the Untouchables was memorable. I enjoyed the work you did with Father MC very much. What are you currently working on. Keep on!
