How does Reggae compare with Hip Hop?
Dancehall and Hip Hop are cousins...Kool Herc developed hip hop when he moved from Jamaica to the Bronx. The cultures, clothes and style of both musical forms are always influencing each other. Rappers like Biggie, Busta Rhymes, Heavy D all have Jamaican roots.

What do you think needs to happen, if anything, with Reggae music to make the general audience accept it better?
The language is a barrier, but by using words and slang that the hip hop and R&B audiences can understand and identify with, reggae artists can widen their appeal. The beats already got people dancing in clubs everywhere, so now it's just [time] to create the hits.

If you were able to collaborate with any artist in any genre of music, who would it be and why?
Beethoven, because he was deaf and still able to create music. He was a genius despite his disability and I respect that.

If your music were an island, what would you name it and how would that island be?
Dutty Rock! It would be all thongs, g-strings, sunshine and lots of trees!

If you could transform yourself into a cartoon character, who would you be and why?
Mighty Mouse because I have a small face and big ears plus lots of positive energy.

Met Sean Paul about a month ago over at ecko. I have to say Sean Paul is one of the most down to earth celebertities I have ever met. I loved his stuff from Belly and now that I know he's got stuff predating Belly I'm making an effort to cop those joints as well (hint* hint* to Michelle Lin)... Holla
