Dondré T Whitfield

Dondré T. Whitfield
Actor
"Hidden Hills"
LA CA

What can we expect from your new NBC show "Hidden Hills?" How different is your character from Robert on the "Cosby Show?"
Comedy with an edge, traditionally not a staple of NBC.

What plans do you have for the near future?
Splitting my focus between family and career.

Do you plan on doing movies? And if so, what type of movie would be ideal for you?
Two Can Play That Game was the last film I did. While TV has certainly been a blessing, it's also been somewhat of a curse because it hasn't left me much time to do much film. Biker Boyz is the latest example. I had to turn it down because their schedule conflicted with "Hidden Hills." My ideal film will have an equal blend of comedy and drama.

If you could play professionally, what sport would you choose?
Baseball, basketball (I played semi-pro in both sports) and golf (I've established a single digit handicap after playing for only a few years)!

If you were a rapper, what would be your name, style, and who would you be able to take out in a battle?
D-Boogie would be my stage name. My style would be a fusion of KRS 1 and LL Cool J. I'd take out commercial rappers making commercial isht.

Besides money and level of respect amongst peers and Producers/Directors in the entertainment industry, what do you think determines the difference between television actors and film actors?

Also, what technique have you developed for yourself that you could clue new actors in that might prepare them for auditions?

I like your work and wish you continued success!!
