Music I can't stop listening to: Cee-Lo, Dungeon Family, Maxwell, and Sade. Also the X-ecutioners sampler because I'm fiending to hear the whole album.
The Name: Just know, I'm not a wysiwyg.
Magazines: Elemental, XXL (for the best editorials), The Source, Rolling Stone (I get it delivered, actually reading the content is another story but they're getting my money so what do they care?), Martha Stewart (for the desserts and new ways to fold things that I don't own, I'm the coolest herb), TV Guide (for the horoscopes), and anything that has a lot of interesting photography. I love browsing through European graf mags.
Books: I don't read much anymore unless it's a new recipe or research, but my favorite books of all time are The Chronicles Of Narnia (the whole set) and The Hobbit/Lord Of The Rings. I'm glad they made a movie out of LOTR so I could eat popcorn and candy without anything sticking together. I was a bookworm for most of my life, so I'm just enjoying playing now.
TV: I watch entirely too much TV! A longtime "Simpsons" fan, "South Park," "Real World," "King Of The Hill" (as you can see, I love reality shows J), Video shows-MTV2, BET, VH1, VH1 Soul. I'm an addict of the all the cable series "Oz," "Sex & The City," "Project Greenlight," "Queer As Folk," "Six Feet Under," "Insomniac," "Real Sex." Basically if it's late and it's on cable, I'm watching it. Those family tragedy movies on the Lifetime channel are the devil, they suck me in every time! I often watch 2-3 shows at one time, which tends to aggravate my company. That's probably why no one comes over to my house to watch movies anymore but I'm okay with that. Really. I've changed channels 3-5 times in the time it took to write this information. Are you mad at me yet?
Movies: Anything action-packed with lots of fighting. I'll watch the old 80's cult-type movies no matter how many times they come on in a given week on cable. Purple Rain, Raising Arizona, Beat Street, The Wiz, New Jack City, anything starring Jackie Chan or any of the actors I listed below. I only watch dramatic movies when I'm by myself. I'm so sensitive. ;-) Best movies in the theater the past couple of years: Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon, Memento, and Lord Of The Rings.
Actors: I've always had this thing for manly men with big faces and dimples like John Travolta and Kurt Russell. I like Denzel Washington, Christopher Walken, Lawrence Fishburn, Al Pacino, Robert DeNiro, Giancarlo Espisito, Angela Bassett, Nicholas Cage (Raising Arizona is his best role ever! lol), Larenz Tate, John Leguizamo, Danny Glover, Morgan Freeman, Bruce Willis, and Samuel Jackson.
Websites/Magazines I contribute to: Elemental, Daveyd.com, Seaspot.com, Seaspot Magazine, Rapsheet.com, Hiphop-Elements.com, Hiphopgame.com, Pitchadjust.com, Urbansmarts.com, Musicemissions.com, hiphophotspot.com, HipHopCongress.com, Manhunt.com, Whudat.com
Websites I read or spend unnatural amounts of time surfing: Okayplayer.com, Eurweb.com, Whudat.com, Allhiphop.com (alerts), Realthugz.com, UrbanExpose.com, and of course, TheCrusade.net
Hobbies: Cooking, taking photos, collecting tiger artwork, sleeping (if I can remember I need to do that sometimes)
Fashion: I love bright t-shirts, jeans, modest jewelry, and comfortable shoes. I like men who dress similarly-unpretentious and expressive.
The Crystal Ball: I'm blessed enough to have mentors who give me priceless advice and attention regarding to my work. I'm not putting limitations on where I'm going with my career, I just know that entertainment is the only industry I've ever felt truly comfortable in.
Quote: If you can't be good, at least be good at it.
Colors: Purple, Orange, Yellow, Red, Navy Blue
The Goodness: Good massages, kind words, constructive criticism, b-boy and deejay competitions, intense conversations with people who believe in something, a rainbow on a stormy sky, warm hugs from people who love you, advice from people who've been there, activities that don't involve other people, finding the perfect gift, wrestling, being genuinely (and pleasantly) surprised, dancing until nothing else matters.
