Giving a global platform to young urban kids in America to address any issue they wish. 2. Inspiring others around the world to follow suit Hip Hop's Greatest Failures: 1. Taking responsibility for the negative images exported around the world (nothing worse than being in a foreign country and have some kid greet you with, "what's up nigga" in broken English). 2. Failure to give back to the community in meaningful and lasting ways. (The only artist who accepted an offer to speak to my students was Chuck D) 3. Its obsession with materialism.
