TV: "Sex and the City," "Sopranos," "Soul Food," "OZ," and "Six Feet Under" (I love cable TV drama!), "Girlfriends," "Frasier," CSI, QVC and CNN too. I'm a huge Wonder Woman fan. For Christmas my sister got me all the old episodes (one of the best gifts I've ever gotten)
Actors: Love, love, love Don Cheadle and Jeffery Wright. Benicio del Torro, Thandie Newton, Ruby Dee, Sanaa Lathan, Charles Dutton, Brad Pitt, Ben Stiller, Debbie Morgan, Vince Vaughn and Robert Deniro are pretty stellar too and Regina Hall is pretty funny on Ally McBeal.
Style Wars: Ugghh...If I could only fit into those Seven jeans. I'm really a "two-for" kind of girl (you know, 2 for $10, $20 or $30). All I care about is if it fits and whether its made well. I'm not really into paying a lot of money for clothes to look just like the next girl. Translation: thrift/vintage/and flea markets meets Club Monaco or something like that.
Favorite Person: My Mom (Go Mary, its your birthday!)
Future Plans: Help BlackPlanet.com blow up (oh wait, did that)...maybe start my own special events company and do some voiceovers for cartoons. Hit me up if you know how to get on the new Macy Gray cartoon or Fat Albert joint! My mama didn't raise no slouch!
Restaurants: Marc Joseph's (The food is impeccable), Maroon's, Ideya (the best mojitos out), and anywhere I can get turkey bacon/sausage for breakfast
Shows: "Alvin Ailey," "Sexaholix," "Vagina Monologues"
Who I'd call if I was in a bind: Kenneth J. Montgomery, Esq. (he's the best lawyer you or I will ever know)
Stress-free spots: Turks & Caicos, Chinese Back Rub joint in Soho ($21 for 30 minutes, you can't beat that with a stick). I stare at my screen for at least 10 hours in the day, my neck is killing me. Our Name is Mud (just me, the paints and a blank slate), either side of my pillow.

Things I love: Shoes, pocket books, good massage, spending time with my family, eating candy, $25 roller set, helping others, a good joke, planning events, playing/spoiling/educating children, good poems, my friends, independent women, fresh flowers and my future husband.
