People don't know how to let you be yourself. If I am not on your block and what I do doesn't affect you be cool. People diss people who are busybodies, nosey, talk to much, etc but when you keep to yourself, stay low and catch a check they got issues with that too. Stop the hate. Don't try to change my situation. I come in, leave and that should be all good. If I am not in yours and don't seek acceptance or approval from anyone that should be all good. I don't sign your check and you don't sign mine. Fall back!

And another thing, I'm all about the black woman coming into a situation and letting those who hired her know that they made the right decision. I am not with a chick coming in and attempting to assert herself where she is not needed and attempting to control situations that she shouldn't. Keep your control issues on your side of the world, with and where the people are that you have been hired to control.

wow..i feel you. even tho i'm not in the corporate world (yet) whenever i come to class,or even my own damn building, ppl always want to start something with me..i just piss them off by ignoring them. one person even told me i'm too stuck up...why? because i don't like to sit infront of the building and smoke weed all weekend..or because i come to class...to ....get this..LEARN as opposed to tryna pass out and collect a phone number..

seriously..ppl are so petty. i just ignore them..haha i actually get satisfaction knowing they stopped their ''busy'' routine just to comment on how ''stuck up'' i am..makes me feel like a celebrity. and i just say thanks.

btw, kelis is hella fly. i loved that photoshoot.
