OMG...I just had a conversation about that word last week.
I HATE TO HEAR PEOPLE USE THAT WORD!!! Why waste the two letters???? Senseless.
Right up there with 'Conversate"

my grammar pet peave is when people use the word "YOUR" where they should be using "YOU'RE". I've heard and read people who are supposed to be 'educated' make this mistake.

I actually do this ALL the time. So much so that I make it a point to go back and reread what I've typed/written to look specifically for this error. I know the difference, but when I am writing or typing on autopilot I make this error non-stop...the worse on AIM.
