she's not cute in the least....you ever seen her in person??? She looks like some funky white hippy straight out of Lord of the rings. She's a wack gimmick that bougie industry sellouts promoted and nobody bought or cared about. She was better off doing Kanye songs.

Well, she rocked it when she performed standing on top of some tables at the club here in the Chi!

Point taken. been feeling that way but it is what it is. of course she's going to get ahead because of how she stands out from the hip hop crowd. She is extremely talented and can play classical pieces, but there's no difficulty in playing hip hop loops so it is a gimmick.

there's nothing wrong with the girl..she's versatile. her first releases were house music and very nice indeed.

The author is a hater.

If you contribute to hip hop...then how can you not be hip hop?

while i think her album is actually pretty good, she has a stank ass attitude...plus, i don't think her career will be long lived as a solo artist....it's pretty boring just watching somebody stand around playing a violin with a "i-think-i'm-the-shit" look on her face...and her hype man is annyoing as fuck....

Nothing wrong with a gimmick. As long as it works...
