Thanks Man! Funny thing is it aired on 106 & park yesterday (I have yet to see it on TV) but people called out the wood work about it. I didnt think my 4.5 seconds would be noticable. wink.gif

Okay this is my 3rd contact today from people who have seen me in the video but one of them just so happens to be someone Im interested in. He didnt come off like he was disgusted that I was in a video but when I asked What he thought he said "I guess its cool"

I thought about em prior to doing the video, I thought about how it may make him feel but I also kept in mind that he's not my man nor would he be mailing out a check.

So why do I feel like this was a bad move? I mean it was a decent head shot nothing more but you know how you men are.....

Should I feel away? If I were someone you were interested what would you think?

To me, I wouldn't be upset about it.....He knew you modeled before he started talking with you. Why would he get mad at a head shot! I wouldn't be mad, I'd be somewhat proud like, "look at ol' girl I'm talking to with a very respectable cameo in a major music video." If he is that insecure, you may be too much woman for him to handle. I don't think you have anything to worry about.......

Unless he thinks you can get caught up in the glamour and the glitz of the BIZ. As stated, he knew you modeled before you did the video. Good luck!!!

If you had no problems with doing it, then it shouldn't be an issue with him as well.

That's his insecurities at work.

Its not so much that I didnt have a problem because I was hesitant at first but I knew I wouldnt be droping the potatoes or nothing so I closed my eyes, crossed my fingers and said fuck it!!

Don't sweat it Mami... You look good in the video and you kept your clothes on and your dignity intact. If he really likes you then he'll get over it and make up for being so blase... If not then at least u know he's not worth your time. Any man you are with needs to get used to it that you have drive and ambition.

Quel,

If dude has a problem w/ that then he's gonna keep tripping even harder the further you get in your career.

^^Fuckeyhole sounds so nasty!!! Keep that one between you and Mc....K!

So for the men on the board you wouldnt have bothered you if you turned on the TV and the girl you're talking to pops up on the screen in a new video that she didnt bother to tell you she was doing?

audioassassin
nope. Would not bother me at all unless it was a video put out by the fine folks at Vivid films or some shit. If you start dating a career driven person that comes with the territory. People that work at 9-5's don't come home and detail every single thing they did like and ' yo at 11:45, I called this insurance broker and then....' I know there's a diff but still the point is, you were who you were before you met dude. People as a rule need to be more confident in self so they can be proud of what the people around them accomplish. Whether or not you told him is really is of no issue unless you are his wife. Which clearly you are not.
Quel
Yeah you're right! I just always want to be considered of Wife Status and the fact that a lot of men have these insecurities I tend to worry myself about little things like this.

Chica, what's done is done. He either accepts you for who you are --or not. If he can't then keep it moving. Don't need anyone messing with your self-esteem.

You said you're "interesed in" him. Do you consider him husband status? Would he affect your decision to accept or turn down future projects? How would you feel, if things ended up not working out with him, about having passed up your hustle for him?
