What’s In Your Deck #17

My Top 5 Music Picks
1. Chris Brown-”Yo (Excuse Me Miss)”
I can’t stop listening to this song! For the last couple of weeks this song made it worth listening to the radio. Smooth vibe. Even made me listen to the album which is very good and age appropriate by the way.

2. Cee-lo-”Crazy”
This one is straight off thecrusade.net messageboards (Thanks Sneeks for posting!). When it was posted I think I listened to it a good 5 times in a row. Cee-lo and Dangermouse is very good for business!

3. N’Dambi-”Get On Up”
N’Dambi is an incredible vocalist and performer. She’s formally one of Eryka Badu’s background singers. Her new album is finally what I’ve been waiting for and knew she was capable of.

4. Choklate f/ Charli 2na-”Waitin’”
I got this off the Kajmere Records sampler. I’m really digging her voice and her style and production is just as appealing. She reminds me of a cross between Soul II Soul’s Caron Wheeler and Mystic… Jazzy, yet soulful and very relevant. Between this and the other song on the sampler It’s Bigger Than You, I think it’s totally worth the wait. Pun intended.

5. Will. I. Am. f/ Black Thought and Charli 2na-”Yes, Yes Ya’ll”
I know you want to, but you can’t hate on Will.I.Am. The entire album is bangin. Debated with a friend about whether I should pick this one or Loose Ends with Justin Timberlake and Pharoahe Monch… I choose this one. Enjoy!

Bonus: E-40-”Tell Me When To Go”
This song is addictive. Even if you didn’t like it before, you will. I walk around singing it when i’m alone. See people singing it a Target. Coworkers singing it. Cars bumping it. Tell me when to gooooooooo!
