Who are you?
Adrian Glover, a really sarcastic bastard bent on world domination.
What’s your 9-5? What’s your 5-9?
Offering my opinion on things and detailing conversations that I have with famous and soon to be famous people or some shit like that. Beyond that I spend most of my time handling Audio Assassins/Gouge Music business and being someone’s daddy.
When did you start? How did you get your start?
I started making music when I was 13 and I got started because truthfully I come from a broken ass family and music was the only thing that spoke to what I felt on any real level.
Why choose this particular career/industry?
How do you describe insanity?
Is/was education important in achieving your goals?
Yes, in that I can talk to corporate types with no problem and in that I learned the basic foundation for how economics works in America.
What are some of your weaknesses and strengths?
They overlap a lot. I can be very stubborn which depending on the situation can help me or hurt me. Helps in that can’t nobody ever tell me that we won’t be successful, hurts sometimes when I may overlook somebody else’s perspective on something. I am lucky to have slamming people around me who know me and accept my bullshit and know how to get through to me when I maybe on the verge of fucking up.
What qualities are needed to survive in your career? In your industry?
I honestly believe you have to be stubborn to survive but most importantly in anything you do I think you should love it to the point to where it defines a certain section of who you are. If I ever start saying writing beats/producing/working with artists is ” what I do” instead of ” who I am” I am going home to be that fat dude on the couch swigging wine and watching Hollywood Squares/Jerry Springer all day.
What makes you unique?
That’s a question best asked to anyone who has ever spent more than five minutes with me.
What advice do you have for those interested in your career? In your industry?
Make your parents proud…become an architect.
